Meet Our Instructors

Dr. Megan McElheran

Wayfound CEO & Registered Psychologist

My name is Dr. Megan McElheran and I am a clinical psychologist and CEO of Wayfound. For the past 16 years, I have had the privilege to work almost exclusively with uniformed service personnel and have witnessed the devastating psychological effects operational stress can have on those who serve our communities. I was motivated several years ago to develop the Before Operational Stress (BOS) program out of a desire to provide public safety personnel with an intervention that could support greater psychological protection relative to their occupational roles. I am steadfast in my commitment to finding proactive ways to support public safety personnel and will continue to disseminate and evaluate BOS to ensure its effectiveness and utility for the members it serves.

Dr. Glenn J Landry, PhD

Course Designer

Dr. Glenn Landry has studied circadian rhythms and sleep for over 20 years. He completed his graduate research at Simon Fraser University, examining circadian mechanisms of entrainment. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of British Columbia, where his research efforts focused on sleep, aging and cognition. He studied age-related changes in sleep duration, efficiency and architecture, exploring how these changes contribute to accelerated cognitive decline in older adults.

As an academic, Glenn’s goal was to develop chronotherapeutic interventions to delay cognitive decline, improve quality of life, and extend capacity for independent living. Now in private practice, Glenn is a sleep coach for older adults, shift workers, and families. His passion is translating sleep science into practical interventions for his clients.
